Doobie’s foster mom is obsessed with him but she’s finally made the tough decision to not adopt him (#fosterfail), so here’s some key things to know about Doobs: 

    •    Dog friendly ✅ he NEEDS another dog to play with. It’s non negotiable as he LOVES to play and he plays HARD. He also loves the companionship of another dog. His size or bigger as he plays like a bully. 

    •    he is very affectionate and loves to snuggle and cuddle in bed with you 

    •    he love toys and he loves to take all the toys out at once 

    •    he smells (and you must love it)

    •    he is part pig and part cow and makes all the associated sounds. So if you have neighbors, make sure they know or they may think you have livestock

    •    he doesn’t like to be alone

    •    Food motivated ✅ he LOOOOOOVES food. But he has allergies to all feathers and I’ve been raw feeding him. Nothing happens when he eats feather other than he gets itchy and red. He’s been testing that theory at ADR when he dive bombs the duck feet bin before I even get in the door

    •    crate trained ✅ he needs naps in his crate through the day or he turns into a toddler

    •    actually he always acts like a toddler. Especially if he’s bored. Like not “bad”, just like Doobie kinda shenanigans

    •    car rides ✅ he LOVES the car but he gets upset if it’s too cold and will howl until you turn the heated seat on. Oh, he also likes to ride shotgun… even if someone is already sitting there 

    •    he will 100% plow over children and then lick them from head to toe. His foster is working hard with him on this. But they are just so small and sticky and tasty and him can’t help it ‍♀️
